Connect the Avocado MCP server

Connect Claude, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf or Hermes to the Avocado MCP server and use 40+ tools to generate, brand, plan and publish with your credits.

The Avocado MCP server lets AI assistants such as Claude, Codex and Cursor use Avocado AI tools directly. Add the endpoint https://mcp.avocadoai.co/api/mcp to your client, sign in, and your agent can generate images, video and audio with your normal credits. More on the MCP page.

How do I connect it?

The server uses Streamable HTTP at https://mcp.avocadoai.co/api/mcp.

  • Claude web and desktop: go to Settings, then Connectors, add the endpoint and sign in with OAuth.
  • Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf and Hermes: create an API key at API keys and send it as a Bearer token.
  • Shortcut: the Avocado CLI can install the MCP into Claude Code or Cursor in one command.

API keys exist for the MCP server and the CLI. There is no public developer API.

What can my agent do?

There are 40+ tools in five groups:

  • Generate: images, video, music, speech and sound effects.
  • Brand: extract your brand and products and apply your brand layer.
  • Campaign canvas: create and edit Flows and storyboards.
  • Publish: plan and schedule posts.
  • Account: check credits and list models.

Which plans include it?

The MCP server is included on every paid plan from Intro. It uses the same credits as the app, and listing models is free.

Where do outputs go?

Everything your agent creates is saved to your Avocado workspace and gallery, just like work made in the app.

Video jobs

Video takes a few minutes, so a video tool returns a job id. Your agent then checks the job until the video is ready.
